The aims and objects of the society, ASSOCIATION OF ALL COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHERS (AACST), are as mentioned below:

 

1. To promote Computational Thinking from the beginning of primary education And to take up various projects initiated by the Government in NEP (National Education Policy) 2020 and the semi-Government Sector in this direction.
2. To conduct programs with the aim of promote Computational Physics, Computational Mathematics, Computational Chemistry, Computational Botany, Computational Zoology, Computational Biochemistry, Computational Biotechnology, and Computational Microbiology, etc. in collaboration with respective College, University Department organizations of Local, State, and National level of these science subjects.
3. To conduct various activities in the nature of seminars, workshops, lecture series, and field visits on the subject of Computer Science and Technology with the participation of the members of the ASSOCIATION OF ALL COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHERS.
4. To promote Green Computing and other various projects initiated by the Government and Semi-Government sectors for the protection, and conservation of the environment.
5. To establish the Nationwide COMPUTER LITERACY Drive with the goal “Every Citizen in Nation should have Basic Computer Knowledge”. This needs to spread computer literacy to all communities irrespective of their race, religion, caste, or creed and to prepare them to become mature and responsible computer-literate citizens of the country through the all-around physical intellectual, academic, and mental development with scientific temperament based on value-based education.
6. To establish a Memorandum of Understanding with Educational Institutes to promote the development of joint studies, research and training activities, and other educational exchanges and programmes of mutual interest.
7. To collaborate with various social entities, and non-governmental organisations apart from Educational institutes at local, State, National, and International levels to organize different awareness programs on recent trends in computing to promote the industrial revolution 4.0 like Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Agro Computing, Medical Computing.
8. To conduct Computer awareness programs for Primary Schools, High Schools, Junior Colleges, Senior [Graduate Degree] Colleges (Science, Arts, and Commerce stream), Senior [Post Graduate Degree] Colleges, Evening Colleges, Street Children and Technical Institutions.
9. To spread awareness of various job opportunities available for the young generation through competitive exams. To conduct various workshops, guidance camps, lectures of special faculties, providing study material to needy students.
10. To establish training centers providing preparation and guidance for various competitions, having a focus on computer science.
11. To collaborate with industry for Industrial Training Center. Society will emphasize the establishment of Social Institutions with Job oriented courses.
12. To promote programmes for Computer Education for Adults, at national, state, regional and local levels.
13. To organize various kinds of Educational programmes, Vocational programmes, Industrial programmes, and Agricultural programmes such as lecture series, essay competitions, exhibitions, symposiums, and seminars to highlight the role of Computers in Agriculture. This will help to provide international coverage of advances in the development and application of computer software and control systems for solving problems in agriculture, including agronomy, horticulture (in both its food and amenity aspects), forestry, aquaculture, and animal/livestock farming, Organic Farming, Agro Tourism.
14. To institute scholarships to help deserving students.
15. To organize various online/offline competitions for various categories of Primary School, Secondary School, Jr. college, UG, PG Students, Research Scholars and Teachers.
16. To award the prize for a significant contribution to a special interest group for the use of information technology for humanitarian purposes in recognition of excellence in various fields related to Computer Science.
17. To honor educators (Life Time Achievement Award) who have made significant contributions to the “Area of Education in Computer Science”
18. To conduct research in computer education and other disciplines with different subjects relating to education.
19. To publish books, charts, illustrations, journals, magazines, periodicals, newspapers, Quarterly Bulletin, and other publications on different subjects and in different languages.
20. To organize International interdisciplinary conferences, seminars, and symposiums for the purpose of sharing ideas related to higher education between the nations and the exchange of culture in participating countries.
21. To Promote a faculty exchange program for enhancement in skills.
22. To do or perform any other activities which may be incidental or necessary for the attainment of any of the objects of the above Society.
23. To arouse the general public towards aid and to inform the general people about the management of the affairs of the “ASSOCIATION OF ALL COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHERS” is entrusted in accordance with the rules and regulations of society to the Executive Committee
